With its roots in the Netherlands, Cofra has 100 years’ experience in soil improvement. Our head office is located in Amsterdam and we have an extensive network of branches around the world. As a demonstration of our commitment to contribute to the region, we have established our South-East Asian branch in Singapore and operate throughout the entire Asian region.

Cofra Dynamic Compaction (CDC)

Cofra has 15 Rapid Impact Compaction rigs, branded as CDC rigs, working on various projects all over the world. they are also known as RDC and RIC rigs

With 12 (twelve) 16-ton CDC hammer Cofra has the largest RIC fleet in the world.

The heaviest RIC hammer in the world, with a weight of 20 ton, is available for extreme depth of influence.

We have optimized the performance of our 9 ton RDC hammers by using a 1.5m drop height.

Featured Cofra projects in South East Asia

Changi airport, Singapore

Cofra Singapore has been working on the various phases of Changi airport, like the Terminal 5 expansion. From the original land reclamation at the turn of century up to the current expansions, Cofra has been installing PVD at each phase of the airport expansion. Currently Cofra just finished the Changi East project with a scope of more than 40 million linear meter of drain.

Tuas view, Singapore

Cofra has been installing PVD in the Tuas area since 1998. 14 projects with in total 45.000.000m1 of PVD were successfully installed using our installation rigs with high push force, minimizing the pre-drilling risk

Manilla International Airport, Philipines

With over 200.000.000m1 of PVD and the compaction of the fill of over 15.000.000m2, this project is the largest in our history.
