By reviewing the available geotechnical information, loading conditions, settlement criteria and liquefaction requirements, Cofra can help identify both opportunities and risks before they affect the project budget or schedule. We are also happy to review project specifications and performance requirements to identify potential optimisation opportunities. This may include assessing whether specified requirements are technically achievable, identifying potential risks associated with adverse ground conditions and advising on practical verification methods to demonstrate compliance with the project requirements.
Many ground improvement challenges are created not by the selected technique, but by unrealistic specifications, incomplete ground investigations or verification requirements that do not reflect the actual behaviour of the soil.
