We are working for over 25 years in the UK region.

We have the tallest PVD or band drain rigs in the world, capable to install up to 60m in depth.

We have multiple heavy push rigs available. Where others need to predrill, we can do without.

We have been involved in projects all over the UK amongst which London Gateway and H2S

Due to our large fleet of band drain installation rigs, we are equiped to meet any project requirement.

Ground improvement for warehouses

In the past years various new construction plots for various purposes, like warehouse, distribution centers, housing areas, have been improved using PVD or compaction solutions.

Cofra Dynamic Compaction (CDC)

Cofra has 15 Rapid Impact Compaction rigs, branded as CDC rigs, working on various projects all over the world. they are also known as RDC and RIC rigs

With 12 (twelve) 16-ton CDC hammer Cofra has the largest RIC fleet in the world.

The heaviest RIC hammer in the world, with a weight of 20 ton, is available in the Middle East for extreme depth of influence.

We have optimized the performance of our 9 ton RDC hammers by using a 1.5m drop height.

We have 20+ years of experience working with RIC techniques in many different soil types

Cofra Ltd installed 177,000m1 of vertical drain on this Relief Road project in 2009.

PVD installation for Belfast Docks, Northern Ireland

Cofra Ltd installed 200,000m1 of vertical drain on this new dock extension/development works in 2011.

PVD installation for Daventry Rail freight Terminal

Cofra Ltd installed 155,000m1 of vertical drain on this rail embankment and high bay storage area in 2013.

Cofra Ltd has installed 42,000m1 of vertical drains for a housing development in 2014. In this particular case, special predrilling equipment was required to penetrate dense coarse layers on top of soft clay deposits.
